“Silver hair is a beautiful crown found in a righteous life” (Prov. 16:31).
Silver Saints are the cornerstone of the ministry at New Mt. Calvary. Our Silver Saints are leaders in leadership, love, fellowship and obedience. They help in teaching others to be examples in the body of Christ and our pillars of hope in the life of the Church and the surrounding communities.
The Silver Saints Ministry offers several services that focus on the diverse senior population here at New Mt. Calvary and networks with other community/faith-based organizations.
In addition, our Senior Life Center provides a positive and Godly environment for our Senior Members and Community Seniors as they fellowship and remain active through services geared specifically for them. We offer weekly, monthly, and annual events. These events include but are not limited to:
- Exercise & walking groups
- Movies
- Speaker forums
- Well-being and health planning
- Senior outings
- Annual Silver Saints Luncheon
