Sunday school is one of the church’s most powerful ways to affirm the Word of God as the foundation for living the Christian life. It is the place where we teach the vital importance of Scripture to our babies, children, youth, young adults, and adults and disciple them in their Christian walk. It is our way of fulfilling the Great Commission of reaching the lost at any cost. Our Sunday school motto is “A Child Brought Up in Sunday School is Seldom Brought Up in Court”. Come and study the bible with us at 9:30 AM every Sunday morning.

The Sunday school Ministry has a volunteer staff of 87 members who organize, train, teach, and minister to a Sunday school Student body of 1,477 members.

The Sunday school Ministry meets each Wednesday night from 6:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to plan for the work of the Sunday school.

The Sunday school Ministry Volunteers participate in training each year in order to be prepared to carry on the work of the Sunday School Two Book Studies each year, two associational Training Events and an Annual Sunday School Workers Retreat are attended as part of the preparation for the staff. Additionally, self-paced study books are completed each year and every two years volunteers participate in a Graduation Ceremony where they receive their diplomas for courses and training completed during a two year period.

More volunteers are needed to continue the Great Commission to Teach the Gospel—the Good News of Jesus Christ. YOU can use your God-given gifts in this important ministry. Welcome your participation.
